This is a ‘generic’ or ‘economical’ reinforced canvas top. Made in the USA! It is getting harder and harder for people to find a good, USA made canvas top. Made from correct heavy duty mil-spec #8 cotton duck with one piece top and rear.
The reason this is called a generic or economical top as it is a one size fits all MB or GPW WWII jeeps. Not everyone is looking for a 100% authentic top but still want a nice, USA made top for their jeep. If you are looking for a 100% authentic top to go with your 100% authentic seats (made by me 🙂 ) I’ll put you in contact with the one and only person in the USA that is doing it.
Even though this is being listed as a generic top, no corners were cut to make this. Proper reinforcements, etc, just like the originals and can be produced with 5 strap with jerry can strap cut out or 6 strap for early, non jerry can jeeps.
